As you can see Malakai is a lefty. At first we weren't sure because he never favored one way over the other, but, when he goes up to bad he insists on batting left handed. His glove was made for a right hander so whenever he catches the ball he either tries to throw it with his glove or he takes the glove off so he can throw with his left hand. I think it is time to invest in a left handers glove. He does still however, write with his right. There is nothing "simple" about this child :)
You will also notice that he got a hair cut *sad face*. He has been asking to get it short for summer and I kind of ignored him, then he told me long hair is for girls. Which makes me think some of the kids are saying something to him. Even though it looks SO freakin cute on him!! So, I let him get it cut for the summer and we'll see where it goes from there.
So, here it goes! I'm a 30 - something domestic diva trying to live life to the fullest while maintaining my zen as a Martha Stewart at home, Betty Crocker in the kitchen, and Mary Poppins in the nursery! Oh, did I mention straight ROCKIN' a career while I'm at it?

Take me out to the ballgame!
As promised, I finally got some pictures of Malakai playing T-ball. Unfortunately it is that time of year where it rains ALL the time so the past two weeks have had to be played in the outfield instead of on the actually infield. However, the kids have adjusted great to it and it is SO funny to watch all of them play. There are just as many parents on the field as there are kids which is hilarious!!
Leila also enjoys the ballgames. She has a lot of little friends there that just adore her! Even a lot of Malakai's team mates have watched her grow up so they all are always excited to see her. My little social butterfly :)
XOXO,
Best thing since I last blogged: I had a fabulous time with my girls last night! It is so nice to be able to get together and laugh, talk, drink, and just enjoy company :)
Worst thing since I last blogged: Not sure what's going on with my AC but my basement is cool and the rest of the house IS NOT! That's a man's job! I'm not dealing with it!!

Awww, I miss his hair, but of course he is precious as always!!! Jackson is thrilled that he can see, and that it doesn't fall in his eyes, he likes to show everyone!!!
Love t-ball, seriously, you cannot be in a bad mood watching t-ball!
So true about Tball! Too bad we don't live somewhere where it can be played all year round.
I still haven't seen pictures of Jackson's hair!! I'm sure he is still on the road to being a Gap model :)
Cute new pics and cute new page!!
I still haven't taken any pictures, isn't that terrible!!????? I need to charge my camera, and I just keep forgetting to do it! PLUS, if I take pictures, my mom bugs me to upload them, and I NEVER get around to doing that, HA!
Claire's husband commented on how "long" Jackson's hair is, and that Jackson may have convinced him that "long" hair on boys is alright because he is so handsome! If only he would have seen the hair a week ago-LONG! We were in Trader Joe's, and the cashier called him a girl. Pat was like, "What the heck, we have one in blue and one in pink because we are training our eldest daughter to be a butch lesbian!?" Of course, she was older, and you know how weird (said with sincere love and adoration) that older crowd can be!
had a FAB time darling! must do it more often ;-)
I LOVE THE T-BALL pictures!! You have to put some pictures of Josh at Kai's age playing t-ball next to pictures of Kai...I had a total flash back of watching my brother play ball when we were growing up. It is CRAZY how much they resemble one another.
